United Nations in Turkmenistan maintains a small UN Library the services of which are intended for general public and practitioners and professionals interested in development literature and the activities of United Nations agencies as such.  

The UN Library has been established in 1995 and provides visitors with free access to printed resources and a collection of audio and video materials of various UN agencies and other international organizations. The library also provides an hourly access to Internet, the timing for which should be recorded upon prior telephone request due to increasing demand for Internet services.

The library is open for visitors and researchers from Monday through Friday from 10.00 till 18.00. The library is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
