Education
To support health education
in Turkmenistan, a series of trainings concerning "The
Development of new school programs on Family Life Education"
were organized and held September 16 - 20 1997 in Ashgabat
with the involvement of international expert Ms. Rebello
Stefani. Thirty specialists participated from all over
Turkmenistan.

At the end of this workshop
a new school curriculum was developed with the involvement
of experienced specialists from MCH Institute, The AIDS
Prevention Center, and The Ministry of Health. The curriculum
was developed with consideration of the cultural environment
of Turkmenistan. |
