16-18 years Category V: 19 years and more 1999 Poster
Contest Exhibition "The Day of 6 Billion" was organized
for marking the birth of the six billionth member of
the Human Family. 2000 Poster Contest invited young
artists to examine what it means to grow up as a woman,
and to grow up as a man. The basic idea is that everyone
benefits when rights are respected-girls, boys, women,
men and families. The winning posters in Turkmenistan
were used in calendars in 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000
with messages on FP, RH and gender issues.
