Ashgabat, 16 January 2010 - First of all, on behalf of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, I would like to express gratitude to His Excellency President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for providing assistance to the people of Haiti through the United Nations. Ashgabat, 21 January 2009 - Let me welcome you to this first National Inter-Ministerial Dialogue on Climate Change. I believe that today is a very important day for Turkmenistan, as we initiate a new chapter in the development of the country. The issues of global warming and climate change are, of course, not new to us. |
